Olivia

Welcome

Motto: An American Bar & Bistro

Olivia Restaurant and Bar creates fresh opportunities for dining and socializing in Ithaca, New York. Restaurateurs Rob Cohen and Greg Silverman, owners of Stella's since 1994, have brought passion and imagination to the creation of Olivia and its new catering service.

Olivia opened in August 2004 in a beautifully remodeled train depot. Initially, the structure itself suggested a kind of "modern American lodge," and Olivia ultimately evolved into a warm, urban space under architect Milton Curry. The dining room, bar, and deck are at once spacious and intimate, contemporary and classic, offering a sophisticated but comfortable experience to be shared with your favorite accomplices.

Go local! The Olivia menu features the best seasonal local, organic ingredients: grass-fed meats, cheeses, free-range eggs, produce, and spices. The menu is creatively American, highlighting bistro styled dishes in which the ingredients are identifiable and the flavor is unmistakable! Featuring gourmet sandwiches, burgers, pasta, eclectic bar snacks and appetizers, there is something for everyone.

Olivia's bar and lounge, O Bar, serves fruit-infused cocktails with all natural flavors. O Bar offers an extensive, affordable wine list with a focus on Fingerlake Boutique wineries. Come see what the buzz is about.

Head chef and owner Gregory Silverman graduated from the French Culinary Institute in New York City in 2003 and worked under Dan Barber of Blue Hill, one of the nations leading voices for local, organic farming and foods. Gregory is a leading voice in the local farm and foods movement.
